We were invited back to Cameroon for the Jeicom 2021 event by CCBRC – Chamber of Commerce Brazil Cameroon, an economic journey for Cameroonian communities. An event for 380 mayors from all regions of Cameroon with a focus on community development that took place between Dec 3rd to 5th, in Yaoundé, Cameroun.
At this time CCBRC invited CIITTA’s affiliated companies. The objectIve was to show how Brazil can collaborate with Africa in the development of projects in the agricultural sector.
We had a 25m2 stand, that was full all the time and we were invited to participate in panels on Dec 3rd and 4th presenting the best that Brazil has to offer and how Brazilian collaboration in the transfer of know-how can increase food production in the world.
The CCBRC (Brazil-Cameroon Chamber of Commerce) also signed a MOU on Dec 4th with CVUC to start organizing all the projects and regions and mov feorward with the projects for CIITTA in the region.
We also received several authorities at the stand, such as the Minister of Labour, Mr. Grégroire Owona, who wanted to discuss with us about the cocoa processing process in Cameroon.
Representing the entity were the companies Baldan Implementos Agrícolas, Vence Tudo and POLIFOL INOVAÇÃO EM FERTILIZANTES ESPECIAIS who with great professionalism gave a real show explaining several times how we can make Africa produce its own food, become a food exporter and especially fight against hunger on the continent.
We could explain the best that Brazil has in the agri sector and how we can transform Cameroun through cutting-edge agriculture making a true revolution in this country.
Africa needs Brazilian technology focused on tropical agriculture soin this way it can increase its productivity and transform these countries.
Thank you to the CCBRC for the partnership, Cameroun embassy in Brazil, which always supports and encourages us in all actions. And thanks to Mr. Rodrigue Mekory who was with us throughout the entire mission.
