On this first trip to the beginning of the Juryia project in Nigeria, which is a project funded by the Mastercard Foundation at SCL Farms and where we are managing the agricultural implementation with the expertise of our team and specialized Brazilian companies, which we will support 72k families, our team (Mr Luis Machado and Mr Geraldo, our vet) has been in the field for several activities, including:
- identification of the potential for cattle breeding;
- Evaluation of soil and potential for grass production;
- Infrastructure assessment;
- Survey of areas with production potential;
- Assessment of existing plant and material resources;
- Beginning of the construction of the bioinput factory;
- Receipts of Brazilian machinery and equipment;
- Beginning of the construction of temporary infrastructure to receive cattle breeders;
- design and planning for the beginning of the ICLF project as well as planning of contour lines for soil maintenance and water management.
